Brushkin Ornaments

Holiday time is our favorite time of year here at VIRTU, because that is when we really get to shine. When we do an ornament or a holiday decoration, it has to be good for the environment and for the world at large.

Enter the wee little brushkin. Each brushkin ornament is made in the Philippines from fibers of the Buri palm tree. The critters take shape with the addition of seeds, pods, and carved wooden pieces to create the eyes, ears, feet, etc. While they may have been imitated, they will never be replicated. Each brushkin ornament is truly and original!

The entire brushkin line is certified by the Fair Trade Resource Network which simply means that the communities involved in creating these ornaments are taken care of financially and environmentally while creating something that is sustainable.
